Francisco "Frank" Sanchez beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully at the age of 93, surrounded by his family. A man of unwavering dedication and deep love for his family, Frank’s life was a true testament to the power of hard work, perseverance, and purpose. Born into humble beginnings, Frank grew up with little but never let that define him. He believed in building a better life—not just for himself, but for those he loved most. With his devoted wife of 73 years, Mable Billings Sanchez, by his side, Frank built a successful business from the ground up. Together, they raised four children, creating a home with values rooted in integrity and grit. Frank and Mable shared a singular dream: to ensure their children had every opportunity they didn’t. That meant providing not only for their needs but also for their futures. Education was a guiding principle in their home, and Frank took immense pride in helping each of his children pursue their academic and professional goals. He instilled a powerful work ethic in all of them—leading by example, giving nothing less than 200% in every task he undertook. As an athlete in his youth, Frank was a proud member of the San Felipe Mustangs' 1948 Regional Championship team and the 1949 District Championship team —memories he held close throughout his life. He often spoke of those days with joy, drawing strength from the teamwork, discipline, and camaraderie that would go on to shape his life and leadership. His favorite mentor was Coach Salvador Peimbert who instilled the importance of discipline, motivation and resilience. No one could ever have predicted that Coach Peimbert’s daughter, Cecilia Peimbert Scott would later marry Frank’s eldest son, Eddie Frank Sanchez I. Frank leaves behind a legacy of hard work, resilience, and boundless love. He is preceded in death by his parents, Carmen and Henry Sanchez; his sisters, Ricardita Mays and Socorro Arredondo; and his beloved son, Eddie Frank Sanchez I. Their memories remained close to his heart, and their legacy continued to guide him throughout his life. Frank is survived by his loving wife, Mable, and their four children: Albert Lee Sanchez and spouse Alice; Jesse Paul Sanchez and spouse Rosa Linda; Terry Sanchez Donahue and spouse Edward; and Jennifer Sanchez Ferrell and spouse John. He is also survived by his sisters, Carmen Rodriguez and Alta Gracia “Gracie” Martinez along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each of whom brought immense joy to his life and carried forward his spirit of perseverance, humor, and dedication. "Well done, good and faithful servant." The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the many caregivers who provided personal care and support 24/7 to Frank and the family over the last several months. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, from 5:00pm – 9:00pm at Trinity Mortuary, 206 Kings Way, Del Rio, Texas. On Wednesday, June 18, 2025, a final viewing is scheduled from 8:00am to 9:00am and a funeral service will follow at 10:00am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 509 Garza Street. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
