Yolanda "Yoli" Castorena Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Yolanda "Yoli" Castorena, age 69, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 while surrounded by her beloved family here in Del Rio. Yolanda was born November 9, 1952 in Del Rio. She was a dedicated SAS employee for 27 years in Del Rio. She grew up in Del Rio and resided there all of her life. Preceding her in death were parents, Jack F. and Marialuisa Sanchez; sister, Guadalupe Espinosa; brothers, Jack F. Sanchez Jr. and Robert C. Sanchez; Family members left to cherish her memory include her beloved husband of 50 years, Ernesto Castorena of Del Rio; children: Yesenia Rodriguez and husband Jesus Rodriguez, Marisol Espinoza and husband Jose Espinoza, and Ernesto Castorena Jr. and wife Brenda Castorena, all of Del Rio; grandchildren: Adelina and David Davila Jr., Jacob and Joel Castorena, and Maria Rodriguez; siblings: Leticia Sanchez, Maria Elena Gaddy (Everett), Cecilia Salazar (Roberto), Juanita Garza, Delma Urbina (Abundio), and Francisco Sanchez; Yolanda is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and close relatives. Rosario Martinez (Ruben) and other brother/sister-in-laws. She will be dearly missed by everyone. This is only a temporary goodbye. Until we meet again. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 24, 2022 from 5 to 9 p.m. in the Trinity Chapel of Devotion. Her final wishes were to be cremated.
