Our beloved husband, father and brother went to be with the Lord on February 7, 2015 at 12:24 a.m. in San Antonio, Texas. Jorge worked with the SFDRCISD, as a bus driver for 37 years. This was a job he took pride in, and loved all the students that he transported. Jorge was a very kind and loving person who enjoyed many different things. He was once named the Fiesta de Amistad Jalapeno Eating Contest Champion. The first time he entered he ate 59 Jalapenos and second time 93. He is preceded in death by his mother, Amalia Botello and his father, Fransisco Gonzalez; and grandchildren, Desiree and Marcus Gonzalez. Family members left to cherish his memories include his loving wife, Norma Gonzalez; children: Yolanda Castro, Yesenia Ramirez, Jorge F. Gonzalez, Georgina Gonzalez, Michelle Salinas, Carlos Salinas, Florence Paz, Marina Thiry, and Sadie Jo Luna. He was blessed with 27 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; brothers: Raul Gonzalez (Rosi), Fernando Gonzalez (Mary Jane); Jorge is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 to 9 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. A Chapel Service will be held Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at 11a.m. at Trinity Mortuary. Officiating will be Rev. Fernando Gonzalez. Burial will follow at the San Felipe Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Raul Gonzalez, Fernando Gonzalez, Carlos Salinas, Yesenia Ramirez, Sean Barnett, and Antonio Cruz. “How do we learn to live without you. You will forever be in our hearts.
