Humberto "Betito" Meza Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Humberto "Betito" Meza, age 76, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at the Downtown Baptist Health System, located in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on March 23, 1944 in Sabinas, Coahuila, Mexico. Preceding him in death were his brothers, Ancelmo Meza and Armando Meza. Family members left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife of 56 years, Maria Aurelia Rodriguez Meza of Del Rio; children: Herlinda Meza of Zaragoza, MX, Sara Elia Meza and husband Jose Maria Vasquez of Guanajuato, Mx, Sofia Meza and husband Jose A. Gonzalez of San Angelo, Tx, Sonia Raquel Meza and husband Francisco Guerrero of Odessa, Tx, Humberto Meza Jr. and wife Araceli Meza of Del Rio, Silvia Meza and husband Alejandro Mascorro of Del Rio, and Adriana Meza of Del Rio; siblings: Hortencia Rios, Espiridion Meza, Dora Amelia Meza, Rosa Elia Meza, Mauricio Meza, and Liliana Meza; Humberto is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Friday from 5 to 9 p.m. in the Trinity Chapel of Devotion. A Holy Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Humberto Meza Jr., Edgar Gonzalez, Adalberto Longoria III, Sebastian Longoria, Juan Jaime Saldua, and Gerardo Meza.
