Hervey L. Rangel Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Hervey L. Rangel, age 56, was reunited with his family on Sunday, April 11, 2021 here in Del Rio. He was born on January 14, 1965 in Ciudad Acuña, Coahuila, Mexico. Hervey was a fun loving family man who enjoyed singing, dancing, and entertaining. He was a huge Dallas Cowboys Fan. In his spare time he also enjoyed riding horses. Hervey was very hard working. Preceding him in death was his father, Enrique Rangel Gomez; sisters: Maria Ester Beltran and Silvia Rangel; Family members left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife of 10 years, Guillermina B. Rangel of Cleburne, TX; mother, Felicitas Rangel of Del Rio; children: Hervey Rangel Jr. and wife Maria Rangel of Del Rio, Javier Rangel and wife Sheila Rangel of Comstock, Adrian Rangel and wife Emily Rangel of Del Rio, Bianca Gomez of Del Rio, Myra Rangel of Cleburne, Nohely Mejia of Cleburne, and Ryan Mejia of Poteet, TX; grandchildren: A.J., Rayna, Reed, Larissa, and Adrian Jr., Marissa, Diego, and Isabel, Alexis and Lynnette; siblings: Enrique Rangel Jr., Ernestina Ramirez, Arturo Rangel, Lourdes Rangel, Enereida Martinez, and Gerardo Rangel; Hervey is also survived by many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 from 5 to 9 p.m. in the Trinity Chapel of Faith. A Chapel Service will be held on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Enrique Rangel Jr., Arturo Rangel, Gerardo Rangel, Hervey Rangel Jr., Javier Rangel, and Adrian Rangel.
